![]() ![]() I have most enjoyed facilitating groups and working with clients individually to empower, educate, and support a paradigm shift in how we care for our bodies. Whatever feels right for you, and whatever pace is right for you-we’ve got your back. I am creating a space where you are free to connect-with me, my team of providers, and with each other. When we connect we learn, understand, and grow. It is my hope that with time, you may begin to show up for yourself with this same curiosity, compassion, and empathy.Īfter working in healthcare for over 25 years I have learned that nothing is more powerful than connection. 2021 marks my 22nd year as a massage therapist!Īs a provider of massage and nutrition therapies I listen to your unique body story-I’ll echo what I’m hearing back to you so that we may recognize the wisdom that is within you and all that we can learn from the experience of living in your body. While studying there I also worked under Physical Therapists learning about treatment for injury rehabilitation. Prior to becoming an RDN, I studied Massage Therapy at East West College of the Healing Arts in Portland, Oregon. Those internship rotations opened doors for me that have led to work experience in public health, hospital, clinical and private practice nutrition. I completed internship through University of Delaware with local rotations in Bend, OR. I graduated with my BS in Nutrition and Dietetics from Oregon State University (Go Beavs!) in 2009. Because I am a health care provider, this pursuit of health is much more congruent with my ethics.Instead, a self care practice that is rooted in compassion and intuition can lead to improvements in metabolic health, regardless of one’s body size. The pursuit of weight loss or controlling the size of our body causes more harm than good. ![]() Dieting or restricting, in any form, does not work.My work started largely steeped in the traditional weight loss paradigm, because that’s what I was taught in academia, but after time applying the ideas to “human subjects” I recognized a few things: I am the founder of Synergy, where we specialize in promoting Health at Every Size ® (HAES) and resuming body trust. My name is RanDee Anshutz I’m a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, Licensed Massage Therapist, and Certified Body Trust® Provider. Includes lodging, all meals and snacks, and activities.Welcome! I’m so glad that you’re here. This program welcomes all individuals who identify as female, including cis and transgender folks. More information and registration can be found at. The retreat will include plenty of time for listening and honoring, exploring ways to revive and heal the wise voice from within, quiet the noise of your inner critic, challenge diet culture, and to teach a different way of being to reclaim the right to occupy space in this world. The retreat will delve into Body Trust ® work that has been around for years and strives to help people make peace with their bodies, inside and out. It is a strength-based, trauma-informed, scientifically grounded healing modality – a way out of the predictable, repetitive pattern of dieting, disordered eating and weight cycling fueled by shame, trauma, and body-based oppression. Body Trust ® is paradigm shifting work that invites bravery and fierce body compassion. It is a pathway to reclaim your body and is completely counter to conventional “wisdom” about food, body image, weight, and health in our culture. Many ask what the Body Trust ® approach is about, it’s a radically different way to occupy and care for your body. The event will be held at Suttle Lake, Oregon from October 21 to 23, 2022. Driven by demand and genuine desire for community connection of current and past clients, Synergy is thrilled to launch this special retreat. Synergy Health & Wellness (“Synergy”) introduces its first-ever 3-day women-only retreat this fall focused on healing Body Trust ®. ![]()
